VisitYerseke.com is made and run by Voûte Digital Advertising B.V., based at Lange Nieuwstraat 191 in Schiedam (Dutch Chamber of Commerce number 24370167). That's a deliberately visible fact: we don't live in Yerseke and we're not a tourist office on the ground, but a publisher that compiles travel information about Yerseke and funds the site through advertising and affiliate links.
Why a site about Yerseke, run from Schiedam?
We believe Yerseke deserves an independent, current and well-sourced information resource alongside the official municipal and tourism channels. We build that resource ourselves, based on historical documents, official statistics, and the existing sites of the Oosterscheldemuseum and Oosterschelde National Park. For day-to-day, local questions we deliberately point visitors to the physical info point in the village: Tourist Shop Yerseke, Kerkplein 14.
